There may be occasions where one is looking to make a transfer from Luton to Gatwick airports. Luton is definitely smaller with its one runway and could be a feeder to the larger Gatwick airport. While Gatwick is not the size of Heathrow Airport, it is still the second largest and second busiest airport in the United Kingdom. It has a lot of international flights that Luton and many smaller airports throughout the United Kingdom do not serve.

So, one could easily find themself in a situation where they fly cheaply to Luton Airport on EasyJet, Ryanair, or Wizz Air, but then need to get to Gatwick for a larger major airline. This makes finding a Luton to Gatwick transfer an imperative. Fortunately, this situation is common enough that there a number of solutions.

They quickest transfer is using Luton Airport Parkway railway station to get a direct train on First Capital Connect Trains. One has to take a short shuttle from the terminal to the station, but this is a minimal inconvenience. Once at the station one takes the train to Gatwick. This service also is also the most frequent.

National Express offers bus options, which are able to provide terminal to terminal service from Luton to Gatwick airports. It is also slightly cheaper than rail service, but the frequency is near two hours apart.

The cheapest solution is to take easybus from Luton Airport to Victoria Station and from Victoria transfer to National Express to Gatwick. Between the two fees the cost should come under £10.
