Picture the scene, you’ve just arrived after a long flight at Luton airport after a week long holiday and want to go home. However, you have no car to drive home in and therefore have to find alternative means of transport to get home. Normally, this doesn’t seem like too much trouble – hop on a couple of buses and trains and you can be heading back to your house within a few hours. But coming home from an airport is an exceptional circumstance. It is incredibly unlikely that when you arrive back you will be in anything less than a very tired state – travelling is much more tiring than people expect and if you factor in the additional stress that people feel when flying then you soon realise that you will arrive back very tired. When you are tired everything becomes much more difficult and the last thing that you want to be doing is negotiating a relatively complex transport system because all it will do is make you even more stressed – not a good way to end your holiday!

The easiest way to solve all this is to park your car at the airport before you set off. The comfort factor makes it a very good option – the car park is able to accommodate hundreds of cars so there is no fear that you won’t get a space and the price is very reasonable – more so than people tend to think. But when you return you will not have to worry about using the public transport system; you can just stumble out of the airport and into your car for a relaxing journey home.
